For 2 years, I lived 15 minutes away from one of the gates of the park and I tried to go at least once a week. Lake Nakuru is an ornithologist's paradise as you can find all kinds of birds within its boundaries, from the mighty raptors to the kingfishers, from the waders to the scavengers. My tick list increased with almost every visit and reached about 150!

Pendant deux ans, j’ai vécu à 15 minutes d’une des portes d’entrée du Parc national de Nakuru et j’ai essayé d’y aller au moins une fois par semaine. Le lac Nakuru est paradis pour les ornithologues car vous pouvez trouver toutes sortes d’oiseaux dans le parc, depuis les grands oiseaux de proie, les oiseaux viavnt près de l’eau, les martin-pêcheurs jusqu’aux charognards. Ma liste s’est dévelopée pratiquement à chaque visite pour atteindre environ 150 espèces.
