Birds of Lake Nakuru National Park
Red Collared Widowbird
I came across this bird in the late afternoon, on my way back up to Lanet gate. At first, I thought it was just a red bishop, until I saw the tail feathers. I only saw it on a few occasions in the same place but it never came close enough to allow me for a close up portrait.
