As the lake level was extremely high in July 2013, it became very hard to take pictures of the water birds in Lake Nakuru National Park as all the roads surrounding the lake were flooded. At the South of the lake, there was still a place where you could see a few. I came across this egret trying to eat this frog. It was really struggling as the frog was kicking the egret on the beak, trying to escape the deadly vice of the beak. The egret dunked the frog in the water a few times, bashed it on the floor before swallowing it.
