One of the most common birds in Africa, I realised that I did not have a shot of this species. As I was driving in the floodplain at the bottom of Baboon Cliff, in Lake Nakuru National Park, early one morning, there were a few of these birds on the floor, close to the road. I took my camera and took a series of pictures.
