Birds of Lake Nakuru National Park
Jackson’s Widowbird
I had seen several Long Tailed Widowbirds on the Southern edge of Lake Nakuru but one morning, whilst looking for a pride of lion on the Northern shore of the lake, I found this widowbird in the tall grass. I took some pictures despite the difficult lighting conditions. I have seen it several times since.
