Striped Hyena
This striped hyena was seen one afternoon in Lake Nakuru National Park. There were in fact two hyenas and they were playing next to the car. The encounter lasted about 10 minutes and I could not believe how lucky we were to see such an elusive and nocturnal animal in broad daylight so close to the car. I took about 30 pictures of the encounter.
