I took this picture of a chamois at sunrise in the Honneck Range, in the Vosges moutains, France, where I grew up. The Chamois were reintroduced in the 70s and are now doing so well that a few are hunted every year. The ones on the Honneck range are quite used to tourists and the number of photographers making their way up the mountain at sunrise is impressive!
