I took this picture whilst on a boat safari in Liwonde National Park, Malawi. The crocodile was sunning itself on the bank. The guide glided the boat towards the animal with the engine cut off.
I used my 500mm lens on a monopod. I selected a large aperture in order to focus on the front teeth of the crocodile and blur the rest of the animal.
