This picture of a white backed vulture posing next to a hooded vulture was taken in South Luangwa National Park, Zambia.
The night before, we had watched two lionesses hunt and kill a female puku (you can see a picture of this in the African Mammals section of this website). In the morning, we decided to go and check what was left.
We came across these two vultures and the skull and a few bones from the puku.
