Lake Bogoria’s Flamingo Colony.
The sheer number of flamingos in lake Bogoria is astounding. It is hard to describe with words and pictures do not give justice to the spectacle unfolding in front of your eyes. The number of birds, the noise, the movement… everything is truly spectacular. I used my long lens as I wanted to show a section across the lake.
Nikon D700, Sigma 150-500mm OS lens at 400mm, F6.3, 1/320s, ISO 100, handheld.
