South Luangwa National park is truly spectacular. On that day, we encountered a big herd of buffalo (about 800 animals). We parked the car on their path as they were coming to the river to drink, and waited for them to walk past us. I have been struggling over the years to show what several hundreds thirsty buffaloes could look like as no picture can give justice to the magnificent spectacle they offer. In this shot, I tried to get as many buffaloes as possible in the frame and show the column of them walking towards the river.
