I was showing the park to a colleague who had never been in and had had a wonderful morning, seeing black rhino up close, giraffes, buffaloes, etc… but the lions were in hiding. Then I heard from a guide that the Main gate pride had been spotted. We went there and found the lions in a tree, by the road. Lake Nakuru is special as the lions climb trees on a regular basis.
