Goldfinch on Thistle
On yet another wait to photograph a kingfisher, this goldfinch came to land on a thistle next to hide were I was posted. I took several pictures before the bird flew away. I had seen a goldfinch a few days before at Twycross zoo, without being able to photograph it, so I was happy to have succeeded this time.
