I love panning shots and try this technique whenever I can. I was on a game drive in Liwonde National Park and the light was pretty poor. The waterbucks bolted next to the car when we drove past them. I saw my chance and had kept the ISO low on my camera. The shutter speed was slow so I moved my camera along with the movement of the waterbucks, still using my monopod as a way to balance the camera.
