Long Tusks
Whilst on safari in Tsavo East National Park, Kenya, we saw this magnificient old elephant cow coming to drink at the artificial waterhole at Voi lodge. To see an elephant with tusks that long still alive is credit to what has been done in Kenya in terms of protection against poachers.
I used my 150-500mm lens rested on the window ledge of the hide to take the picture.
