I took this picture of Bohm's Bee-Eaters sleeping on a branch at night in Liwonde National Park, Malawi.
I used my 500mm lens, on a monopod, set the ISO on 800 on my D200 Nikon camera and used a Nikon SB800 flashgun to add light to the scene.
Liwonde is famous for its bird life and the Bohm's Bee Eaters are one of the local attractions along with Palmnut Vultures and Pel's Fishing Owl.
