Elephant Watching the African Plains
I was in the hide at Voi Lodge, in Tsavo East National Park, Kenya, when this elephant came to drink at the artificial waterhole.
Very quickly he turned his back to me. That's when I came up with the idea of this shot.
I used my 500mm lens balanced on the ledge of the window in the hide to take the picture.
