We went on a night walk during a stay in the Kinabatangan river area, in Sabah, Northern Borneo. Walking at night in the jungle is fun (apart from the mosquitoes!). We were hoping to see a binturong but were very happy to see this palm civet in a tree. It looked at us for a few minutes and then moved on.
Nous étions en safari à pied à côté de la rivière Kinabatangan, dans le Nord de Bornéo. Faire un safari à pied de nuit est très fun (à part les moustiques…). Nous espérions voir un binturong mais avons été très content de voir cette civette des palmiers dans un arbre. Elle nous a regardé pendant quelques minutes avant de disparaitre.
