The cool thing with these coral cat sharks is that they are nocturnal and as soon as you shine the torch on them, they seem completely disorientated and after swimming in circles a few times, just stay still on the sea floor. It makes taking pictures very easy as you can get very close to them. Their markings are beautiful. On that particular trip, I saw 2, one of which during a night snorkel in about 80cm of water.
Ce qui est bien avec ces petits requins c’est le fait qu’ils soient nocturnes et que dès que vous dirigez votre lampe sur eux, ils semblent complètement désorientés, se mettent à nager en cercle puis s’immobilisent complètement sur le fond. Cela rend les photos beaucoup plus faciles à prendre car vous pouvez vous approcher très près. Leur livrée est vraiment belle. Pendant ce voyage, j’en ai vu deux, le deuxième pendant une session de PMT nocturne dans 80cm d’eau.
