You can have watched the migration on TV a lot of times, nothing can prepare you for seeing it in real life. The sheer number of animals is astounding as well as the noise (“Gnu”) and the smell. As far as the eye can see, the plains are covered in wildebeests, some moving in columns, some grazing. The only downside is the migration of minibuses….
