The causeway was flooded but I liked driving to the water’s edge as I had seen quite a few interesting animals there before (bat eared foxes, lions, and frequently white rhinos). On that day, there were very few birds (which was unusual) and no mammals. I went out of the car, put the camera just above the water surface and took a series of shots without looking in the view finder.
