Striped Hyena Portrait

When I did my research about Lake Nakuru National Park, I was excited to read that striped hyenas were sometimes seen. In just under 6 months and about 20 drives, I have seen them four times, which is great. On this occasion, I found two of them playing by the side of the road. Instead of running away, they came towards the car. Everybody held their breath as it was a very rare moment. I managed to move my camera slowly into position and took this picture.
