I was called by the gardeners at school as they had found a snake in a bush. I grabbed my equipment and got the snake out of the bush. I did not know the species but the snake was really placid. I took a few pictures that I sent to the authors of the big book on East African Snakes. Steve Spawls, one of the authors, replied and identified it for me. The Egg Eaters are completely harmless snakes. This specimen was released in lake Nakuru National Park.
