Bull Shark

Probably the shark species responsible for most attacks on humans. The bull sharks can even go up rivers and live in fresh water. Protea Banks, in South Africa, used to be a "hotspot" for this shark species but years of "sports" fishing have decimated the local population.
I was diving with Trevor Krull, a fantastic South African diver, who had invented a device to try and call the sharks. It worked well on that dive as the bull shark made several passes next to us, allowing me to take a few pictures with my Motormarine II camera with Sea & Sea flashgun. We were about 30m below the surface when I took the picture.
