I will remember this dive as I missed two types of sharks because of the buddy I was paired with. Let’s say that she was not up to the required standards despite having about 100 dives logged…. On the plus side, I led her on a nice dive alongside the East wall of Elphinstone, where we encountered the big male Napoleon fish (or Humphead Wrasse) that usually lives in the crack in the Northern plateau, about 40 metres down. We were only at 25 metres this time when we met him. I managed to take 2 shots as he was on his way back to his lair, swimming effortlessly against the strong current.
